Sidney Prescott was a Survivor speculated to be added to Dead by Daylight alongside The Actor in late August 2017 after some faked Daily Rituals, formerly having been posted on Reddit, resurfaced on the Steam Forums.
The Rituals were faked in such a good way, that people (understandably) took them for confirmation as the exact same occurrence had leaked The Hag back in November 2016.

Sidney Prescott would have been based on the Character of the same name from the Scream series.

Sidney Prescott is the main heroine and protagonist of the Scream series.
She proved herself as a Survivor when she defeated the Woodsboro Killers Billy Loomis and Stu Macher in their disguise as Ghostface.

- Sidney Prescott's identity would have been leaked in the same way as had previously happened with The Hag: a player received a new Daily Ritual using the new values and text strings.
- The fake Daily Ritual was a variation of "The Saviour Ritual" and required the player to rescue 7 Survivors from the hook with Sidney Prescott, rewarding 60000 Bloodpoints.
