怨灵是一名能够进行相位移动的杀手，能利用其力量山冈作祟穿梭灵界突袭逃生者。她的力量可以使她在无形状态下从某个地点移动至另一地点。
她的专属技能包括 暴怒怨灵 
、厄咒：闹鬼之地 
与 怨气冲天 
，能使她窥视和诱捕逃生者，以及直接清除障碍物。

背景故事[]
凜是山崗家族的獨生女，她在香川县的一個清貧的傳統家庭中長大，就讀於高松市的一所私立大學，這給她的家庭帶來了沉重的經濟負擔。而她母親在那年一病不起，家裡的賬單開始漸漸堆積起來。凜在學習之餘會做兼職工，但這幾乎是杯水車薪。
她的父親面對永不止境的債務，決定每天工作兩班倒，也正是從那天起，他開始失眠，黑暗中帶來的一種低語聲讓他整夜無法入睡，提醒著他正面臨著的絕望處境。幾近崩潰的他已經分不清現實與夢境。他想要否認這低語聲告訴他的一切，因此直接向他的上級解釋自己面臨的困境，央求得到獎金，預支工資，休假，怎樣都行。
他的請求被回絕了。同時，公司的生產線出了問題，付出了沉重的代價，必須有人對此負責，而凜的父親順理成章的被當成了替罪羊。 22 年的工作換來的卻是公司的辭職信。
當晚，凜為了照顧逗留在餐廳的顧客，很晚才下班回家，她剛停好自行車時，就听到屋里傳來了母親的尖叫聲。
她趕忙衝過去，趕到父母的房間時，她看到母親的殘肢斷臂散落在地板上，胸部被刨開，肋骨暴露在空氣中，凜被眼前的場景嚇得瞠目結舌。
突然一把鋒利的武士刀向她砍去，她試圖用前臂抵擋，刀鋒嵌進了她的肉裡，此時她的驚訝蓋過了疼痛，因為自己她的人是他的父親，凜哭喊著請求他停下，但他又一次的砍向了凜的手臂。
凜衝出房間滑倒在血泊中，她抓住門框再次支撐起身體，但鋒利的武士刀割開了門框，砍斷了她另一隻手臂，她痛苦的哀嚎著，艱難的向門廳走去，卻被父親的屠刀擋住了去路。她退後了幾步，渾身顫抖著，捂著被割開的肚子，回想起了已經被肢解的母親。
凜拼盡全力的沖向她的父親，他後退了幾步，對著凜肚子上的傷口猛擊了一拳，凜在劇痛中倒地，當她掙扎著想要起身時，她的父親砍斷了她的大腿，使她癱倒在地上。
當凜爬向台階時，他的父親又一把抓住她的頭髮，將她摔到了玻璃隔板上，玻璃受到衝擊後破碎了，凜掉到了樓下。她聽到樓上傳來了腳步聲，竭盡全力的在這一片碎玻璃中往前爬行，碎片撕扯著她的肉體。
鮮血從無數傷口中湧出。突然，一種低沉的心跳聲在她耳中迴響，她頓時就感到身體無比沉重、大地隨著她父親的腳步聲而顫抖。她知道自己已經難逃一死，但她已經不在乎了。她會讓他付出代價，無論此生還是來世。
一團黑霧逐漸遮擋住了她的雙眼，但她的怒火不會因此而熄滅。她不會就這樣善罷甘休，至少現在不會。黑暗中的低語向她許諾著鮮血和復仇。

武器: 破裂的武士刀[]
破裂的武士刀是怨灵的主要武器。
一把代代相传的单刃兵器。刀刃在沾染同族鲜血后破裂了。
力量：山岡家族的作祟[]
怨靈可以使用她的力量，山岡家族的作祟,來進入靈界，並在新的位置現身。
- 按住力量鍵進行充能。怨靈會離開自己的軀體，留下一具原地不動的“驅殼”。
當力量處於激活狀態時:
- 怨靈可以在短時間內以較快的移速自如位移，但她的行動將仍然受到物理環境的限制。
- 怨靈在靈界時將無法看到逃生者的實體，但仍然可以感知到逃生者留在環境中的划痕（腳印）。
- 怨靈會在她當前所在的位置發出聲響。
- 當力量耗盡時，移速加成會保留一小段時間，而她的驅殼則會消失。
每次使用力量都會消耗掉怨靈的靈能。但她的靈能會隨時間自動補充。靈能條完全充滿後才能再次使用山岡家族的作祟。

- 恶灵 一开始选择了怨灵的爸爸作为新的杀手，但是在凛（怨灵）和她父亲的对抗中，恶灵从凛对她父亲的绝望和愤怒中感受到了更大的潜力，并决定选择她代替她的父亲成为一个新的杀手。

- 在怨灵心跳内的逃生者不会听到力量声音。该范围之外的逃生者将听到声音，但无法确定其方向。
