	4 seconds	6 seconds	8 seconds	When a Generator is repaired to 85 %, you receive a noise notification and your Terror Radius is reduced to 0 metres for 8/10/12 seconds.

Mechanics Change: Tinkerer no longer boost Add-ons affecting the Power charge speed, but instead will give the Killer a noise notification if a Generator is repaired to 85 % and will also reduce their Terror Radius to 0 metres for 8/10/12 seconds.

The Terror Radius fades away and comes back instantly, not gradually unlike with Template:IconLink.
Up to Patch 2.1.0, Tinkerer was officially not supported on any Killer following the release of The Doctor besides The Cannibal as he shared most of his Add-ons with The Hillbilly.
- It was unofficially supported on some of The Huntress and The Clown's Add-ons due to spaghetti-code.
- Tinkerer gave the Developers a lot of additional coding to do, which is why the aforementioned Killers did not make any use of it.
- Thus, with Patch 2.1.0 Tinkerer was changed into a completely different Perk altogether.
Tinkerer's old flavour text still addressed The Hillbilly by his Alpha name "The Crooked", rather than by his current name:
- "The Crooked makes impressive tools out of scraps... Tools aimed at maiming us in creative ways... It's horrifying to think it's actually intelligent." — Unknown, Notebook
