Template-info.png Documentation

This documentation explains how the Perk Description Template works and is to be used:

Formatting the transclusion

If you want to transclude a Perk's description into another Wiki page:

perk name in lower case

Formatting the Template itself

If you want to add a new/edit an existing Perk's description to the Template:

  | <perk name in lower case> = <The Perk's description and the "Perk Lookup" Template>

Flavour Text <-- optional

Unique Perk <-- optional

Example

  | botany knowledge = You transform plants found around The Campfire into tinctures that slow down bleeding. Healing speed is increased by and the efficiency of Med-Kits is increased by .

Unique to Claudette Morel until 6, which its Teachable version can then be learned and taught to the other Survivors.

Perk Lookup

The Perk Lookup Template is used to choose the colour palette for the 3 Perk Tiers and the variable values.

perk name in lower case

Example Perk Lookup

Formatting the Template like this

...

will return Botany Knowledge's Healing Speed boni of 11/22/33 % (v=1) and its efficiency of Healing Items boni of {}/{}/{} (v=2)

Example Perk Description

Formatting the Template like this

botany knowledge

and inserting it into a Table will return

You transform plants found around The Campfire into tinctures that slow down bleeding.

Healing speeds and the efficiency of Med-Kits IconItems firstAidKit.png are increased by 11/22/33 %.

"Basic botany knowledge could save your life someday." — Claudette Morel
