When repairing a Generator
, the following effects apply:
- Reduces the audible range of your Repair noises by -8 metres.
- Suppresses the explosion and accompanying Loud Noise Notification when failing a Skill Check
. - Failing a Skill Check instantly regresses the Generator by 5/4/3 % of its maximum possible Progression in addition to the default Progression penalty.

Trivia
- The default Regression penalty of missed Skill Checks is -10 %.
- Despite the wording of the in-game description implying such, Technician does not reduce the volume of Generator Repairs, merely the distance at which they can be heard by passersby.
- The default Hearing distance is 20 metres.
- Prevented Generator Explosions will still wake the Player from the Dream World.
- Also applies to Overcharge Skill Checks.
