Just noticed today that the hover-over page preview tends to block the link being hovered over when the box shows up above the link, making it annoying to click many links. When the box shows up below the link it appears to be fine, plenty of space between it and the link. I looked at the help wiki which also has the page previews and it wasn't an issue there. For reference, I am using Chrome. -Grendal27 (talk) 00:25, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

::Sure, here's an example with the character navbox: image link. It takes a moment for the preview to show up but after that I can't click the link. It's possible to disable the preview in the settings but it's enabled by default. Yeah, I wasn't sure about that either. :Hey Grendal, the function should be disabled by default until you enabled it on a different wiki probably thus it appears to be enabled by default. Nevertheless, this is an experimental feature hence disabled by default as the extension needs to be configured, however, as this settings can be accessed only by GP staff we are unable to properly reps. effectively set it up as there are many other things on the wiki that has higher priority. Besides that I'm aware of this problem but I'm not sure how much we will be able to fix it as this issue seems to be extension sided. Can we do something about the perks on some pages switching through the brown/green/purple variant? It's like a constant flashing and is extremely distracting when trying to read the info on the perk. Daleylife (talk) 22:43, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

*Hey Daleylife, as been told, these are GIFs, there can be some possibilities to load static images but it'd ton of work probably which wouldn't be worth to handle the issue from our side. I recommend looking for a 3rd party solution - they are working exactly as you'd expect. --Jouki (talk) 05:57, 18 August 2020 (UTC)

Revision as of 03:32, 30 August 2020

Hi!

I'm one of the DbD developers, and I'm wondering how I can get permission to edit any page. I'd like to make some small (mostly grammar and spelling) adjustments to the main page.

Almo2001

I replied on your profile.

"Flashing Perks"

Can we do something about the perks on some pages switching through the brown/green/purple variant? It's like a constant flashing and is extremely distracting when trying to read the info on the perk. Daleylife (talk) 22:43, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
