Styptic Agent

Styptic Agent is a Very Rare Med-Kit Add-on .

Add-ons support Mouse-over functionality (desktop version only): hovering over the modifier words with your cursor will reveal the values behind them.
On mobile browsers, the values are displayed in small text after the modifier words. Desktop users experiencing issues with the mouse-over may temporarily switch to mobile view at the bottom of an Article page.

	A white powder with coagulant properties. Apply the agent to a wound to stop it from haemorrhaging. Use with Secondary Action. When the Styptic Agent is used on an injured Survivor, they gain the Endurance Status Effect for 8 seconds. Any damage taken during that time that would put the Survivor into the Dying State will instead apply the Deep Wound Status Effect. The Survivors has then 20 seconds to Mend themselves. If the Survivor takes any damage while affected by Deep Wound or if the Deep Wound timer ends, they will immediately be put into the Dying State . Using Styptic Agent will destroy the Add-on and deplete the Med-Kit's Charges.	6,000

• Rework: reworked the ability to instantly heal to instead apply the Endurance Status Effect for a specific duration.
• Buff: no longer reduces the Med-Kit's Charges.

Trivia

• Styptic Agent can be used regardless of the remaining Healing charges the Med-Kit it is attached to still has.
  • It is therefore advised to use the Med-Kit for regular heals before the Add-on itself is used as it will deplete the Med-Kit afterwards.
