Undetectable is a Status Effect featured in Dead by Daylight that is applied exclusively to Killers.
It was originally introduced in Patch 3.2.0 alongside the release of CHAPTER 13: Stranger Things, with The Demogorgon having been the first Killer to use it.
Mechanic[]
The Undetectable Status Effect is a buffing effect applied by numerous Unlockables.
Killers benefitting from Undetectable are granted several stealth abilities and generally shielded from the Aura-reading abilities of Survivors.
Undetectable has the following effects:
- Suppresses the Terror Radius
- It should be noted that if the Killer has a Lullaby, it will not be suppressed and remain unaffected by the Status Effect.
- Suppresses the Red Stain
- Blocks all Aura-reading abilities from Survivors that would normally reveal the Killer.
- Suppresses the Stinger SFX jump-scare that would usually play when a stationary Killer starts moving again.
- Enables the smoky-screen VFX that indicates stealth mode to the Killer Player.
