Mechanic[]

The Haste Status Effect is a buffing effect that boosts a Player's Movement speed.

Most Haste effects affect all types of locomotion unless they specifically restrict it to a select type, which is generally mentioned in the description of the Unlockable applying it.

The strength of the effect depends on the specific Unlockable and can be stacked when applied from multiple Haste sources.

A refined version of the Putrid Serum that is mostly safe for human consumption.

  • Press the Secondary Action button while healing yourself or another Survivor with a Med-Kit to use the Refined Serum to boost the Movement speed of the affected Survivor by +5 % for 16 seconds.
  • Creates a Blight trail behind the affected Survivor.
Refined Serum consumes the Med-Kit on use.

  • Your AurasIconHelp aurasIconHelp aurasIconHelp auras are constantly revealed to one another.
  • Completing a Healing Action on the Obsession or having them complete one on yourself, grants both of you a 5/6/7 % HasteIconStatusEffects hasteIconStatusEffects hasteIconStatusEffects haste Status Effect.
    • This effect lasts for as long as you both remain within 16 metres of one another.
Blood Pact is temporarily disabled if you yourself are the Obsession.

Reduces your chance of becoming the initial Obsession by reducing the default value by -100 %.
The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

Boon: Dark Theory Boon: Dark Theory Your obsessive study of the paranormal has given you unprecedented knowledge of other Realms and planes of existence.

Soft chimes ring out in a radius of 24 metres.

Blinding the Killer by any means applies the following effect:
  • Causes them to suffer from a -20 % HinderedIconStatusEffects hinderedIconStatusEffects hinderedIconStatusEffects hindered Status Effect for 6 seconds.
    • This effect does not stack.
Champion of Light has a cool-down of 80/70/60 seconds after blinding the Killer.

  • While crouching and motionless, press the Active Ability button to silently enter the Dying StateIconHelp dyingIconHelp dyingIconHelp dying with the following benefits:
    • Suppresses Grunts of Pain.
    • Suppresses Pools of BloodIconStatusEffects bleedingIconStatusEffects bleedingIconStatusEffects bleeding.
    • Grants the ability to fully recover from the Dying State.
  • After full recovery using Plot Twist, you are healed instantly and gain a +50 % HasteIconStatusEffects hasteIconStatusEffects hasteIconStatusEffects haste Status Effect for 2/3/4 seconds.
Plot Twist deactivates after recovering yourself by any means and reactivates once more once the Exit Gates are powered.
