Change Log
- Sole Survivor had multiple changes to its percentages that were undocumented in the Patch Notes.
Patch 2.1.0
- Mechanics Change: instead of reducing the range of the Killer's Aura-reading abilities, Sole Survivor will now disable the Killer's Aura reading within a certain range around the Survivor that increases with the death or sacrifice of each Survivor for a maximum of 48/54/60 metres.
Patch 2.3.0
- Buff: increased the ranges by 4 metres across all Tiers, re-instating Sole Survivor's former synergy with Template:IconLink.
Tactics
- For more detailed information about Template:IconLink and Template:IconLink affecting Aura reading, refer to Template:IconLink.
- Can be used with Template:IconLink so that you can see the Killer, but they potentially can't see you. It is possible to fully conceal yourself if both Perks are at Tier III.
- Can be an effective counter for short range Aura-reading abilities, such as Template:IconLink, Template:IconLink, Template:IconLink, or Template:IconLink (provided at least one other Survivor has died).
Trivia
- The Perk was originally to be called "Last Survivor" according to the Halloween Chapter's Spotlight.
- Triggers the Template:IconLink Mechanic.
- If you're the only Survivor with an Obsession Perk, then become the Obsession.
- If multiple Survivors have an Obsession Perk, then the Obsession will be chosen randomly among the Perk holders.
- Equip multiple Obsession Perks to prioritise yourself over other Obsession Perk holders.
- Even though Sole Survivor triggers the Obsession Mechanic, the Obsession will have no impact on the trial unless another Obsession Perk is used.
