Snowmen are Props that were originally added as part of the Bone Chill 2021 Winter Event and have been re-enabled every year since.
Use[]
Bone Chill 2021[]
During the 2021 Event, 6 Snowmen would spawn in the Trial Grounds, which only Survivors could enter.
If a Survivor was hit while inside a Snowman, or if a Killer destroyed a Snowman with a Survivor inside, they would receive a random Event Cosmetic or Charm after the Trial.
Bone Chill 2022[]
During the 2022 Event, 8 Snowmen would spawn in the Trial Grounds, which both Survivors and the Killer could enter.
If a Survivor is hit while inside a Snowman, or if a Killer destroys a Snowman with a Survivor inside, they receive bonus Bloodpoints.
When a Survivor entered a Snowman, they jumped into it using the Hatch animation.
When they exited the Snowman, they used the Locker-exit animation of the Perk Head On, in which they brace their arms in front of their head.
When a Killer entered a Snowman, they dematerialised on the spot using the same animation as is used in the main menu when selecting a Character, however with blue sparks.
The same animation was used when they exited the Snowman again.
Bone Chill 2023[]
During the 2023 Event, 8 Snowmen, of which 2 will be Mimics, will spawn in the Trial Grounds, which both Survivors and the Killer can enter.
Mimics will jump-scare Players when approached and create a unique Loud Noise Notification visible to all other Players (but without the explosion sound cue).
Effects on Survivors[]
