Score Events

Score Events are used to award Players with Bloodpoints IconHelp bloodpoints.png in Dead by Daylight IconHelp DBDlogo.png.

They are triggered through various (inter-)actions the Player can make during the course of a Trial.


Overview[edit | edit source]

Score Events are awarded in 8 Categories, 4 per side:

  • For Survivors IconHelpLoading survivor.png:
    • Objectives
    • Survival
    • Altruism
    • Boldness
  • For Killers IconHelpLoading killer.png:
    • Brutality
    • Deviousness
    • Hunter
    • Sacrifice

Additionally, there is a special Category reserved for Score Events that can only be triggered by interacting with Special Event Props.


Tracking Score[edit | edit source]

Triggering a Score Event will cause a pop-up in the upper right-hand side of the screen, showing the associated Scoring Category's icon and a white Circle that will fill in red colour the more Score Events are triggered by the Player in that Category.

The Circle is divided into 4 quadrants, each representing 1,250 Bloodpoints, making a full circle represent having obtained 5,000 Bloodpoints in that Category.

This is a remnant from the old Ranking System, which required the Player to fill the equivalent of 2 Scoring circles in order to pip, allowing them to track that progress mid-game.
Any points obtained past the 5,000 mark would not be counted towards Pipping.

Lethal Rush Dodged 250 - - Awarded for causing The Blight IconHelpLoading blight.png to miss a Lethal Rush.
Obsession Dead 1,000 - - Awarded after being sacrificed as the Obsession IconHelp obsession.png.
Obsession Escaped 1,500 - - Awarded for escaping the Trial as the Obsession IconHelp obsession.png.

Heal (II) - 7 per % 700 (100 %) Awarded for healing another Survivor after all Generators are completed or the Endgame Collapse IconHelp endGame.png was triggered.

Meat Shield 25/7.5 - - Awarded for shielding a lacerated Survivor from another Blade Hit from The Trickster IconHelpLoading trickster.png.
Has a buffer of 3 seconds.
Awards the full 25 Bloodpoints for the first 20 Shields, after which the gain depreciates to 7.5 Bloodpoints for the remainder of the Trial.
