Remember Me is a Unique Perk belonging to The Nightmare

Prestige The Nightmare to Prestige 1, 2, 3 respectively to unlock Tier I, Tier II, Tier III of Remember Me for all other Characters.






- Increases the Opening time for both Exit Gates
by +6 seconds per Token, up to a maximum of 12/18/24 seconds, for all Survivors other than the Obsession.
- The Obsession is exempt from this penalty.
You can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

- Nerf: reduced the per-Hit Penalty to 4 seconds and decreased the maximum Penalty to 8/12/16 additional seconds.

- Buff: increased the per-Hit Penalty to 6 seconds and increased the maximum Penalty to 12/18/24 additional seconds.

- Buff: Increased maximum tokens to 3/4/5 and the maximum Penalty to 18/24/30 additional seconds.

By default, an Exit Gate requires 20 Charges to be opened. Each successful hit with Remember Me will add 4 Charges. The default Opening rate of 1 Charge per second remains unaffected.

Note: I haven't tested this in game & I don't normally edit these things. I believe that the table above was updated when patch 8.5.0 allowed another stack, but wasn't updated when patch 7.1.0 changed each stack to be worth 6 seconds. Therefore I think the numbers in the table are wrong. So the table says the maximum increase opening time is 20 seconds, Whereas the perk says the maximum increase opening time is 30 seconds. I've Copied and Paste the table above with what I think should be the correct numbers, including changes to the wake up opening time which again were not tested, I just used the increased opening rate of 1.25 charges per second, from the Wake Up wiki page. I don't know exactly how charges work in DbD, so hopefully it is all correct! Someone that knows what they are doing can delete this long note if they confirm I'm correct, Thankyou! -XolfRiggler

Trivia

- On platforms which did not feature content from CHAPTER 6: A Nightmare on Elm Street™ for licensing reasons, Remember Me's icon was replaced with a generic one, removing The Nightmare's clawed glove hand and replacing it with a male Survivor.
- Remember Me can still gain Tokens after the Exit Gates
have already received power.
- The additional penalty from these Tokens is applied immediately, even if a Survivor is already in the middle of opening a Gate that very moment.
- Remember Me does gain Tokens if the Obsession loses a Health State with For the People
