Rancor is a Teachable Perk IconHelp perks.png unique to The Spirit IconHelpLoading spirit.png. It can be unlocked for all other Characters from Level 40 onwards:

Perks support Mouse-over functionality
(desktop version only): hovering over the modifier words with your cursor will reveal the values behind them.
On mobile browsers, the values are displayed in small text after the modifier words. Desktop users experiencing issues with the mouse-over may temporarily switch to mobile view at the bottom of an Article page.

You become obsessed with one Survivor.

Each time a Generator IconHelpLoading generators.png is completed, the Obsession IconHelp obsession.png sees your Aura IconHelp auras.png for 5/4/3 seconds.

Each time a Generator is completed, all Survivors' locations are revealed to you for 3 seconds.

Once all Generators are completed, the Obsession has the Exposed IconStatusEffects exposed.png Status Effect and the Killer can kill the Obsession.

You can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

Unlocking this Perk makes it available in the Bloodweb of all Killers

You become obsessed with one Survivor.

Each time a Generator is completed, the Obsession sees your Aura for several seconds.

Each time a Generator is completed, all Survivors' locations are revealed to you for 3 seconds.

Once all Generators are completed, the Obsession has the Exposed Status Effect and the Killer can kill the Obsession.

You can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

May be unlocked in the Shrine of Secrets or in The Spirit's Bloodweb at Level 40.


Trivia

  • In accordance with the fourth line in Rancor's description, the Endgame Collapse will not trigger its tertiary effect, if it was initiated by closing the Hatch IconHelp hatch.png.
  • According to the CHAPTER IX Spotlight and the original filename Rancor was originally called "Hatred".
  • Rancor describes a feeling of hatefulness or bitterness about something in the past.
