Time to repair a Generator
1 Survivor 1.0 c/s 0 % 1.0 c/s 1.0 c/s 80 seconds
2 Survivors 0.85 c/s 15 % ~0.98 c/s ~1.96 c/s ~40.92 seconds
3 Survivors 0.7 c/s 30 % ~0.91 c/s 2.73 c/s ~29.3 seconds
4 Survivors 0.55 c/s 45 % ~0.8 c/s 3.19 c/s ~25.08 seconds
  • It should be noted that the effect of Prove Thyself is applied on top of the Repair speed already afflicted with the Efficiency Penalty and not on top of the default Repair speed a Survivor would have if they were to solo-repair a Generator.
    • The individual Repair speed of Survivors will never exceed the default Repair speed of 1 c/s with Prove Thyself alone.
  • It should also be noted that Prove Thyself does not include the Perk owner in its calculation of how great the speed buff should be and will therefore, in case of four Survivors being within its range, at most apply a buff of 45 % (15 % times 3).
    • However, that buff will be applied to ALL Survivors within its range, including the Perk owner.

Trivia

  • Prove Thyself mitigates to a degree the Efficiency penalty applied to each individual Survivor that is repairing the same Generator.
  • Up to Patch 2.5.0, Prove Thyself featured the following flavour text: "I'll show you what I can do!" — Dwight Fairfield
  • Due to the Game's tendency to round up values it uses to display the animation in the progress bar, when 2 Survivors repaired the Generator under the effect of 2.5.0 Prove Thyself, the progress would appear as the neutral grey, indicating a Repair speed of 1.0 c/s, which was actually just the actual Repair speed of 0.99 c/s being rounded up solely for the animation.
    • With the current Prove Thyself (3.7.0), the bar now correctly displays in red, as the Repair speed of 0.98 c/s is no longer rounded up.
