The Player Level is a new progression feature in Template:IconLink. It was introduced with Patch 2.0.0.
Overview
The Player Level represents a Player's overall progression on their account. Every Character that one plays, contributes to one's Player Account Level.
Experience Points
Experience Points or XP are how one levels up their account. They are obtained after each trial and are calculated depending on the following factors:
- Time played in the trial (1 XP = ~1 second)
- Highest Emblem Quality
- 18 XP for obtaining at least 1 Iridescent Emblem
- 12 XP for obtaining at least 1 Gold Emblem
- 6 XP for obtaining at least 1 Silver Emblem
There is also a "First Game of the Day" bonus (300 XP), that can be obtained for either side for completing the first trial of the day.
Iridescent Shards
Leveling up the Player Level will award the Player with a certain amount of Template:IconLink, depending on the Level. Template:IconLink are also gained by gaining experience (500 XP per Fragment), however this is not tied with the Player Level system.
Averaging all levels, you do earn ~0.065 Iridescent Shards per Experience Point. Given the above rate of ~1 XP per second, that would mean you earn an average of 3.88 Shards per minute, or 232.82 per hour, ignoring emblem and First Game bonuses.[1]
Devotion
Passing Level 99 will reset them to Level 1 and give you a Devotion Level.
Levels
Iridescent Shards are not capped. You earn an average of ~0.065 Iridescent Shards per Experience Point.[1]
