- Padded Jaws was added with Patch 2.1.0 to remedy the fact that The Trapper did not have the standard number of 20 Add-ons yet.
- When the Padded Jaws are equipped, the sounds of the Bear Traps become softer and less metallic.
- The Padded Jaws have considerable synergy with Save the Best for Last
, since a Survivor will be stuck in the Trap Escape animation after being hit, allowing for The Trapper to hit them twice in most situations.
