Perk-Combo Incompatibilities
- Some Perks, due to having either a requirement to be Healthy, granting the ability to self-heal or having some other incompatibility with the Broken Status Effect, cannot activate when run alongside No Mither.
It is therefore not advised to combine No Mither with the following Perks:
- Dramaturgy
- Finesse
- For the People
- Inner Strength
- Light-Footed
- Moment of Glory
- Overcome
- Reactive Healing
- Resurgence
- Second Wind
- Self-Care
- Solidarity
- Strength in Shadows
Despite these known incompatibilities, some Players purposefully choose to combo these Perks purely for the comedic value of wasting a Perk slot, a trend that was even noticed and referenced by the Developers in a Tweet.[1]
Trivia
- According to an interview with then Producer Mathieu Côté, No Mither was originally going to be called Just a Scratch, which is also the name that was seen in early promotional material for the A Lullaby for the Dark Chapter.
- No Mither is an effective counter to Bloodhound and other blood-tracking Unlockables.
- The unique HUD overlay icon now associated with the Broken Status Effect was originally added specifically to inform other Players that someone was using No Mither, as there were many situations in which Players did not realise that the Perk User had No Mither, leading to issues with toxicity and futile, but insistent Healing attempts.
