Modifier: My Little Oni was the first iteration of the limited-time Modifier for April Fools'.

It was available for just 48 hours between 1 and 3 April 2024


Modifications[]

Several aspects of a regular ranked Trial were modified when playing My Little Oni.

Gameplay[]

Survivors still had to repair GeneratorsIconHelpLoading generatorsIconHelpLoading generatorsIconHelpLoading generators to power the Exit GatesIconHelp exitGatesIconHelp exitGatesIconHelp exitGates in order to escape, but some modifications applied:

  • Reduced the Repair requirement of Generators from 90 Charges to 70 Charges.
  • Reduced the Repair-Completion requirement of Exit Gates from 5 Generators to 3 Generators.

There were still 7 Generators available in the environment and the Exit Gates opened instantaneously upon receiving power.

Survivors only had a single life.
If they went down and The Oni decided to kill them, they were dead for good, stomped and crushed with a Mini-Mori.

Survivors were also unable to be healed back to healthy once injured, automatically suffering from a permanent BrokenIconStatusEffects brokenIconStatusEffects brokenIconStatusEffects broken Status Effect.
Downed Survivors could still be healed back to the Injured StateIconHelp injuredIconHelp injuredIconHelp injured.

Players[]

The size of Players had been modified for My Little Oni.

The Killer could only play as a giant version of The OniIconHelpLoading oniIconHelpLoading oniIconHelpLoading oni (regardless of whether they owned the Character or not).

He easily towered over obstacles and was about as tall as the floodlights mounted atop Generators.

Survivors, on the other hand, were tiny, shrunken to be about as tall as Totems.
They could also only play as original Survivors, no licensed ones.

Periodic Aura-reveal[]

Survivors had their AurasIconHelp aurasIconHelp aurasIconHelp auras revealed to The Oni for 2 seconds once every 60 seconds.

Cosmetics[]

All Players played the Trial wearing the default Cosmetics of their Characters.

Load-Out[]

Players were unable to equip any Unlockable before the Trial and entered the Trial without any PerksIconHelp perksIconHelp perksIconHelp perks, ItemsIconHelp itemsIconHelp itemsIconHelp items, OfferingsIconHelp offeringsIconHelp offeringsIconHelp offerings, or Add-onsIconHelp addonsIconHelp addonsIconHelp addons.

Props[]

Survivors could only repair GeneratorsIconHelpLoading generatorsIconHelpLoading generatorsIconHelpLoading generators, cleanse TotemsIconHelpLoading totemIconHelpLoading totemIconHelpLoading totem, and drop PalletsIconHelp pullDownIconHelp pullDownIconHelp pullDown.
They could not vault the latter or any WindowsIconHelp windowIconHelp windowIconHelp window.

Trials spawned without any ChestsIconHelp chestsIconHelp chestsIconHelp chests or LockersIconHelp lockersIconHelp lockersIconHelp lockers.

Map Modifications[]

Trivia[]

  • The name of this Modifier is a reference to the toy line and media franchise "My Little Pony".
  • My Little Oni uses the internal food-based code name "Cake".
  • The Oni was scaled up by a factor of x2, whereas Survivors were scaled down by a factor of x0.5.
  • While walking, The Oni created thunderous stomping footstep sounds and his growls and screams when stunned or powering-up were much deeper.
