Jill Valentine is one of 44 Survivors currently featured in Dead by Daylight.
She was introduced as one of two Survivors of CHAPTER 20: Resident Evil™, a Chapter DLC released on 15 June 2021.
She originates from the video game franchise Resident Evil, specifically the 2020 remake of Resident Evil 3.
Overview
Jill Valentine is a founding member of S.T.A.R.S who has triumphed over countless bio-organic weapons.
Her personal Perks, Counterforce, Resurgence, and Blast Mine, allow her to indirectly fight back, while offering strong support to her teammates.
Lore
Excelling at lock picking and bomb disposal, Jill Valentine was a brilliant Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) agent.
After bravely rescuing her team members from a devastating biohazard, she returned to Racoon City to save any survivors left behind.
But a lethal and ruthless super soldier labelled Nemesis was on her trail.
After dealing The Nemesis a few blows, Jill rushed to the basement and picked the lock of a cold room.
Once inside, her body turned numb as a black fog engulfed her.

- Change: provided Jill with unique voice-lines.
- Change: updated her facial model and character portrait to reflect her looks in Resident Evil 3 Remake.
- Change: introduced new Lobby Music for Jill.
Trivia
- Jill and Leon Scott Kennedy are tied for the Survivor with the most in-game flavour texts by themselves, each having five in total.
- Jill, alongside the other Resident Evil Survivors, are the first Survivors to receive their own unique Lobby music.
- This was previously introduced with the Attack on Titan Skin Collection, but only applied to costumes; switching back to another outfit would change the music into the default one.
Voice-Lines
- Jill retro-actively received unique voice-lines with the release of CHAPTER 25: Resident Evil™: PROJECT W, which provided all Resident Evil Characters with voice-lines.
- This made Jill the fourth voiced Survivor since Ash Williams.
