Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability:

Each time a Generatoris completed, Dark Sense activates:

• The Aura of the Killer is revealed to you for 5/7/10 seconds, as soon as they come within 24 metres of your location, after which Dark Sense deactivates.

Patch 2.1.0

• Rework: now reveals the Killer's Aura for 5 seconds when completing a Generator.
  • Buff: increased the Aura-reveal upon completing the last Generator to 5/7/10 seconds.

Patch 3.2.0

• QoL: now triggers on any completed Generator.

Patch 6.1.0

• Rework: Dark Sense no longer triggers immediately after completing a Generator, but saves its effect until the Killer comes within 24 metres of you.
  It no longer distinguishes between Generators completed during the Trial and the very last Generator.

Trivia

• Dark Sense does not trigger on Killers that are cloaked by the Undetectable Status Effect.
• Dark Sense has an equivalent Killer-Perk called Bitter Murmur.
• "Murf" from the Lost Tapes is a reference to Murf, a former Community Moderator on Steam.
• Dark Sense triggers immediately if the Killer is already within the specified radius.
