The Blood Feast is the rarest Bloodpoint Event in Dead by Daylight.
The first Blood Feast originally happened in August 2017 and then went on hiatus for nearly seven years.
Overview[]
- The Blood Feast boosts the amount of Bloodpoints Players obtained during a Trial in the Tally Screen by a factor of (x3), tripling them.
First Blood Feast[]
The first Blood Feast occurred during the 1 Year Anniversary and lasted for 4 days.
It was meant to help Players achieve the Anniversary's Community Challenge, which was to earn a combined total of 150,000,000,000 (150 Billion) Bloodpoints across all Game Modes (including Custom Game) within a given time-frame.
The Reward for succeeding the Challenge would be as follows:
- The then newly added Anniversary Bloodpoint Offerings (Escape! Cake, Survivor Pudding, and Bloody Party Streamers) would remain obtainable from the Bloodweb for an additional month after the Anniversary ended.
- Ultimately, these Offerings were added permanently and never left the Game since.
- The then newly released console port of the game would be given those Offerings for that month as well.
History[]
Trivia[]
- The Blood Feast only occurred thrice in the history of Dead by Daylight, making it the rarest Currency-Modifier Event.
- The first two times happened during an Anniversary, the first one for the 1 Year Anniversary and the second one for the Eighth Year Anniversary.
- The third one happened later that same year alongside the second iteration of the Chaos Shuffle Modifier.
- The Blood Feast has two related mini-Events with different modifiers: the Blood Rush (x1.5) and the Blood Hunt (x2).
- The name inspired the Fragment Feast Event, which also triples the default amount, though in its case for Rift Fragments.
