Blighted Cosmetics are a series of Cosmetic Collections released every October as part of Halloween Events in Dead by Daylight.
Overview
During every Halloween Event, new Cosmetic Collections are released, which mutate Killers into horrifying, blighted abominations and dress Survivors up in Steampunk Victorian fashion.
Lore
Talbot Grimes, after entering The Entity's Realm, discovered Vigo's Journal in an abandoned labrotory. In it was described a Serum made from the nectar of Pustula Flowers. Each year, The Entity underwent a transformation, causing visceral cankers and pustula flowers to form. These plants could be turned into a strange and empowering Serum.
In his research, he fought, trapped and experimented upon various Killers, which in turn mutated them into monstrous aberrations.
Blight Tags
As each Blighted Killer is the result of an experiment by Talbot Grimes, each Killer was injected with Blight Serum, and each serum has a tag bearing its batch number.
Each tag bears a different alchemical symbol and number, except for the original Blighted Cosmetics which are identical.
