Patch 1.3.0

  • Buff: increased the sprint duration on Tier III to 3 seconds.
  • Buff: decreased the activation cool-down to 40 seconds.

  • Mechanics Change: Balanced Landing now causes Exhaustion, preventing the combined use of multiple sprint-inducing Perks.

Patch 2.0.0

  • Buff: changed the stagger effects reduction to 75 % across all Tiers.
  • Buff: changed the sprint upon landing to be available across all Tiers.
  • Mechanics Change: added Exhaustion timers to Tiers I and II.


Trivia

  • Balanced Landing will still trigger if a Survivor in the Template:IconLink falls the appropriate distance, giving them a brief period of increased crawling speed.
    • If done in combination with the use of Template:IconLink, the resulting crawling speed equates to 2.625 m/s (9.125% faster than the default Survivor walking speed), which can be used to reposition under ideal circumstances.
  • The original quote for Balanced Landing was going to be "I've always thought of myself as a cat."
