Akito Yamaoka is the son of Kazan Yamaoka, as mentioned in The Oni's add-on descriptions. Not much is known about him.
Some time before or after Kazan's pilgrimage, Akito suffered an injury. He had to get a crutch due to breaking his leg after falling off a tree. Kazan took his frustration out on Akito's playmate and their family, it's unknown what Kazan did.
After his injury, he stopped practicing sword-fighting.
