Add-ons are an addition to Killer Powers and Survivor Items IconHelp items.png.



Overview

This Article presents an overview of all Add-ons featured in the Game. For more detailed information, such as the numbers behind the adjectives, please refer to an Add-on's respective Article.

Add-ons boost specific aspect of a Killer's Power and a Survivor's Item when equipped.

Players can equip up to two Add-ons at the same time, however, it is not possible to equip the same Add-on twice.

Add-ons are single-use only and generally lost after a Trial.

  • This can only be prevented through the following means:

Stacking

Add-ons which affect the same part of a Power will generally stack with one another (both positive and negative effects).

Positive modifiers are always applied additively, whereas negative modifiers are always applied multiplicatively.

Older Add-ons used to mention if they would stack or not. Newer Add-ons of more recent Killers do not mention this anymore unless they specifically do not stack.

Add-on Order

Unlike a popular myth amongst the Community, the order in which Add-ons affecting the same part of a Power or Item are put into the two slots does not matter in terms of how strong the resulting effect is going to be, due to how the game handles those modifiers.

Mouse-over Functionality

On desktop browsers, the Wiki supports mouse-over functionality for the modifier words used in the description of most Unlockables (slightly / moderately / considerably / tremendously). Hovering over them with your cursor will reveal the values behind those modifiers (Mac Users may need to highlight the modifier words).

On mobile browsers, the values are displayed in small text after the modifier words. Desktop users experiencing issues with the mouse-over may temporarily switch to Mobile View.

Using the Perk Ace in the Hole IconPerks aceInTheHole.png, a Survivor will find Items IconHelp items.png with Add-ons attached to them.

Please note that because of the every-increasing size of this Article causing loading time issues due to each Chapter adding at least 20 new Add-ons, the Add-on listings below will now redirect to the specific Add-on Template instead.

Any Power

The Blight Serum Add-on is unique as it can be applied to any Killer's Power that was released up to CHAPTER XVII: Descend Beyond.
It can only be used and obtained during the The Eternal Blight Event.

If used with The Blight IconHelpLoading blight.png, you benefit from the following effect:

  • Grants 1 additional Token towards the Rush ability.

If used with any other Killer IconHelpLoading killer.png, you benefit from the following effects:
Press the Power button to initiate a Blighted Rush, allowing you to dash forwards at 200 % of your default Movement speed for 2.5 seconds:

  • Temporarily replaces your default Power with the Blighted Rush ability until its Token is consumed.
  • Starts with 1 Token.
  • Grants 1 Token each time a Survivor is hooked.
  • You are unable to attack during a Blighted Rush.

Blight Serum is only playable during the The Midnight Grove Event.

The Afterpiece Tonic is The Clown's main Power: throwing a bottle will release a cloud of intoxicating smoke once it breaks. Survivors passing through the cloud will be affected with blurred vision, slower movement speed and coughing fits, amongst various other afflictions based on the chosen Add-ons.

Robin Feather A warm orange feather, soft to the touch.
  • Reduces the Cool-down time between Bottle Throws by -40 %.
Party Bottle
Party Bottle Be the life of the party!
  • Hitting a Survivor directly with a Party Bottle interrupts actions as usual, and awards 100 bonus Bloodpoints.

Party Bottles emit confetti when they break, in addition to their usual Gas effect.

Fingerless Parade Gloves
Fingerless Parade Gloves Part of the standard Clown apparel, the cut fingers allow for dexterous manipulations.
  • Increases the Throw speed of the Bottle by +25 %.
  • Decreases the Throw angle of the Bottle by -15 °.
Thick Cork Stopper
Thick Cork Stopper A sturdy cork fitting the Afterpiece Tonic Bottles marvellously.
  • Reduces the Reload time by -0.5 seconds.
Sticky Soda Bottle
Sticky Soda Bottle An empty bottle, sticky with dried sugar and blood.
  • Start the Trial with 1 additional Bottle.
  • Grants the ability to carry 1 additional Bottle.
Starling Feather
Starling Feather A black feather with an emerald gloss, very soft to the touch.
  • Reduces the Cool-down time between Bottle Throws by -50 %.
Solvent Jug
Solvent Jug A chemical volatile compound that irritates the respiratory tract, but increases absorption of the Afterpiece Antidote.
  • Increases the Invigoration duration by +1 second.
Kerosene Can
Kerosene Can A thin and clear combustible liquid which numbs the mind when inhaled.
  • Intoxicated Survivors suffer from the Blindness IconStatusEffects vision.png Status Effect for 30 seconds.
Sulphuric Acid Vial
Sulphuric Acid Vial An odourless syrupy liquid with high corrosiveness.
  • Intoxicated Survivors suffer from the Mangled IconStatusEffects mangled.png Status Effect until healed.
Spirit of Hartshorn
Spirit of Hartshorn A pungent chemical compound consisting of ammonia.
One whiff is enough to jolt even the most sluggish of minds.
  • Increases the size and spread of Afterpiece Antidote Gas Clouds by +20 %.
Smelly Inner Soles
Smelly Inner Soles A mouldy inner sole which gives much comfort to tired feet.
  • Increases Movement speed while Reloading by +66 %.
Flask of Bleach
Flask of Bleach A potent chemical which causes irritation, burns and lung damage.
  • Increases the Hindered IconStatusEffects hindered.png Penalty from Intoxication by an additional 4 %.
Bottle of Chloroform
Bottle of Chloroform A sweet-smelling organic compound with strong anaesthetic capabilities.
  • Increases the size and spread of Afterpiece Tonic Gas Clouds by +20 %.
Garish Make-Up Kit
Garish Make-Up Kit Some for the face and some for the Antidote.
The unknown compound intensifies the Antidote's effect.
  • Increases the Invigoration duration by +2 seconds.
Ether 15 Vol%
Ether 15 Vol% A highly volatile organic compound, toxic at this concentration.
  • Increases the Intoxication duration by +1 second.
Cigar Box
Cigar Box A grim and incomplete collection of fingers.
Fills The Clown with longing and focuses his chemical crafting abilities.
  • Any Invigorated Player sees the Auras IconHelp auras.png of all other Players within a radius of 16 metres.
Cheap Gin Bottle
Cheap Gin Bottle The only remnant of a cheap good time and one hell of a headache.
  • Start the Trial with 2 additional Bottles.
  • Grants the ability to carry 2 additional Bottles.
Tattoo's Middle Finger
Tattoo's Middle Finger The prized middle finger of a large tattooed man.
Has a faint taste of machinery oil.
  • The Auras IconHelp auras.png of both Intoxicated and Invigorated Survivors are revealed to you for 6 seconds.
Redhead's Pinkie Finger
Redhead's Pinkie Finger The prized pinkie finger of a redhead.
Faintly fragrant.
Tastes of potpourri and varnish.
  • Survivors hit directly with the Bottle suffer from the Exposed IconStatusEffects exposed.png Status Effect for as long as they are Intoxicated.
  • Reduces available Bottles by -2 Bottles.

The Bear Trap is The Trapper's main Power and also his secondary weapon: Bear Traps are found lying around the Map. They can be picked up and set down mostly anywhere. Traps are not armed until picked up and placed. The Trapper starts the game with a single trap in his hands, and can only carry one at once unless using Add-ons.

Makeshift Wrap
Makeshift Wrap A scratched and worn brace made of thick, cured animal skin.
  • The Trapper can no longer be caught in his own Bear Traps, they will instead be disarmed when he steps onto them.
Bear Oil
Bear Oil Melted animal fat that can lubricate the Bear Trap's squeaky joints.
  • Setting a Bear Trap is silent.
Wax Brick
Wax Brick A block of wax used to lower friction and facilitate movement in mechanical parts.
  • Increases the Bear Trap Rescue and Escape times by +33 %.
Serrated Jaws
Serrated Jaws These replacement Bear Trap jaws have saw-like blades, causing awful open wounds when they snap.
  • Survivors injured by a Bear Trap suffer from the Haemorrhage IconStatusEffects bleeding.png Status Effect until healed.

Lengthened Jaws
Lengthened Jaws Jaws with long teeth that dig further into the flesh than a conventional Bear Trap.
  • Survivors who escape from Bear Traps suffer from the Deep Wound IconStatusEffects deepWound.png Status Effect.
Coffee Grounds
Coffee Grounds An old rusted can containing damp coffee grinds.
  • Grants a 5 % Haste IconStatusEffects haste.png Status Effect for 5 seconds after setting a Bear Trap.
4-Coil Spring Kit
4-Coil Spring Kit A replacement kit for Bear Traps which changes the usual dual spring system to four coil springs, adding a great amount of strength to the Bear Trap's hold.
  • Decreases the Bear Trap Disarm speed by -25 %.
Trapper Bag
Trapper Bag A cured leather waist bag.
Large and sturdy to transport hunting equipment.
  • Start with 1 additional Bear Trap.
  • Increases the Bear Trap Carrying capacity by 1 Bear Trap.
Tar Bottle
Tar Bottle A black, matte and sticky substance that when applied to Bear Traps, makes them far less noticeable.
  • Darkens (α255; R36; G36; B36) the Bear Trap.
Secondary Coil
Secondary Coil A secondary coil keeps the Bear Trap functional in times when the primary coil becomes unusable.
  • Increases the Bear Trap Disarm time by +50 %.
Rusted Jaws
Rusted Jaws These Bear Trap jaws are covered with crusty and volatile rust spots, making injuries particularly difficult to heal.
  • Survivors injured by a Bear Trap suffer from the Mangled IconStatusEffects mangled.png Status Effect until healed.
Fastening Tools
Fastening Tools A specialised set of tools used to fasten Bear Traps to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Increases the Bear Trap Rescue and Escape times by +25 %.
  • Increases the Bear Trap Setting speed by +50 %.
Trapper Sack
Trapper Sack A crude leather sack suitable for foraging.
  • All Bear Traps are carried at the beginning of the Trial instead of spawning throughout the Trial Grounds.
  • The Trapper is unable to pick up Bear Traps once placed.
Tension Spring
Tension Spring A high tension spring that snaps back into place after being stretched.
  • Automatically resets the Bear Trap 2 seconds after a Survivor escaped from it.
Oily Coil
Oily Coil A clear oil that makes handling the Bear Trap's spring more hazardous.
  • When resetting a Bear Trap, the Aura IconHelp auras.png of the Survivor who had disarmed it is reveal for 5 seconds.
Honing Stone
Honing Stone When used with the Bear Trap, the Honing Stone sharpens its blades.
The razor-sharp blades inflict deep wounds aimed at bleeding the victim as fast as possible.
  • Survivors caught in a Bear Trap, who free themselves, are inflicted with the Dying State IconHelp dying.png.
Iridescent Stone
Iridescent Stone Bear Traps sharpened with the sickly gleaming Iridescent Stone seem to gain a life of their own.
  • Every 30 seconds, a randomly chosen disarmed Bear Trap is automatically reset and armed.
Bloody Coil
Bloody Coil Part sticky, part slippery, this grim liquid makes handling the Bear Trap's spring more dangerous.
  • When a healthy Survivor disarms a Bear Trap, the Bloody Coil exacts its price, putting the Survivor into the Injured State IconHelp injured.png.

Birds of Torment is The Artist's main Power and also her secondary weapon: Dire Crows can be launched to injure nearby Survivors or to fly reconnaissance missions in search of Survivors further away, swarming them.

Oil Paints There is little left but a few globs of black and grey, yet Carmina could paint an expansive landscape with them.
  • Increases the Killer Instinct Detection radius of Dire Crows by +1.5 metres.
Choclo Corn
Choclo Corn A type of corn common in South America.
A few kernels are reason enough for a crow to stop for a snack.
  • Increases the Idle time of Dire Crows before they disintegrate by +2 seconds.
Velvet Fabric
Velvet Fabric A striking red fabric Carmina used on an art project.
Its brightness contrasted against black feathers.
  • When a Survivor attempts to Repel a Dire Crow Swarm, the Swarm's Aura IconHelp auras.png remains visible for another 1.5 seconds.
Untitled Agony
Untitled Agony A canvas that was targeted with swipes and trashes of black paint following Matias' death.
It radiates with heavy, crippling sorrow.
  • Survivors swarmed by Dire Crows suffer from the Hindered IconStatusEffects hindered.png Status Effect for 1.5 seconds.
Still Life Crow
Still Life Crow An ink drawing of a dead crow.
Carmina's sadness over its death can be felt with each dark line.
  • Increases the Idle time of Dire Crows before they disintegrate by +4 seconds.
Festering Carrion
Festering Carrion A stomach-churning pile of meat and guts, yet it attracts hungry crows craving a bite.
  • Reduces the Cool-down time of Birds of Torment after a Dire Crow takes flight by -0.5 seconds.
Automatic Drawing
Automatic Drawing An experimental drawing Carmina made without conscious planning.
Do not think — act.
  • Reduces the Cool-down time of Birds of Torment after a Dire Crow disintegrates from inactivity by -1.5 seconds.
Thorny Nest
Thorny Nest A nest that remained empty near Carmina's home.
There are sharp thorns embedded in it.
Silver Bell
Silver Bell A shiny trinket that a crow took a liking to.
The clinking of the bell was a distraction to everyone but Carmina.

O Grief, O Lover

  • The Auras of Dire Crows are visible for 0.5 seconds upon being summoned.
Severed Tongue
Severed Tongue Carmina's tongue, cut from her mouth shortly before her death.
The sight instils rage not just in her, but in her crows.
  • Reduces the Slow-down duration of The Artist when Dire Crows take flight by -0.5 seconds.

The sight brings sheer fury to her and her protectors.
  • Any Survivor within 3 metres of a Survivor, who is being swarmed by Dire Crows, will also be swarmed.

  • Increases the number of Dire Crows The Artist is able to hold by +1 Dire Crow.

Iridescent Feather
Iridescent Feather A glass-like feather moulded from The Fog itself.
Simple as it may be, it is a symbol of those who watch over Carmina.
  • Grants the Undetectable IconStatusEffects undetectable.png Status Effect whenever Birds of Torment is on Cool-down and The Artist holds no Dire Crows.
  • Reduces the number of Dire Crows The Artist is able to hold by -1 Dire Crow.

The Blackened Catalyst is The Hag's main Power: she bends and shapes mud to her will. With simple ritualistic drawings, she creates deceitful duplicates of herself made from mud and decay which she can use for various effects.

Dead Fly Mud A small lump of mud, black with the remains of flies.
Devoured to increase stamina.
  • Increases the Phantasm Trap's Teleportation range by +20 %.
Bog Water
Bog Water Murky water contained in a glass pill bottle from another time.
  • Increases the Phantasm Trap's Trigger range by +10 %.
Pussy Willow Catkins
Pussy Willow Catkins A handful of small, pristine flower clusters covered in a fine greyish fur.
  • The Auras IconHelp auras.png of Survivors tripping a Phantasm Trap are revealed to The Hag for 3 seconds.
Half Eggshell
Half Eggshell One half of a perfectly round hollow eggshell.
  • Increases the Phantasm Trap's Tripped duration by +30 %.
Dragonfly Wings
Dragonfly Wings A handful of yellowish wings, dry and crisp.
Devoured to increase stamina.

Cypress Necklet A rigid ornament worn around the neck made from dead plants adorned with crudely attached cypress bark and swamp moss.

Bloodied Water Tainted water contained in a folded water lily leaf.
  • Increases the Phantasm Trap's Trigger range by +20 %.
Willow Wreath
Willow Wreath Three frail willow branches attached to form a triangular wreath.
  • The Auras IconHelp auras.png of Survivors tripping a Phantasm Trap are revealed to The Hag for 5 seconds.
Swamp Orchid Necklet
Swamp Orchid Necklet A rigid ornament worn around the neck made from dead plants adorned with withered orchid petals and leaves.
  • Increases the Phantasm Trap's Setting speed by +25 %.
Dried Cicada
Dried Cicada A large swamp cicada covered in a fine layer of ash; crispy.
Devoured to increase stamina.

Cracked Turtle Egg
Cracked Turtle Egg A pale orange turtle egg, cracked and emptied of its content.

Bloodied Mud
Bloodied Mud A handful of mud with veins of deep crimson.
The bloody layers empower the mud.

Scarred Hand
Scarred Hand The cut up, severed hand of the cannibal village butcher.
The trapped life essence within unlocks tremendous potential in The Hag's power.
  • Mud Phantasms have collision with Survivors.
  • Grants 300 % bonus Bloodpoints in the Deviousness DailyRitualIcon deviousness.png Category.
  • Disables The Hag's ability to teleport to tripped Phantasm Traps.

Scarred Hand trumps all other Add-ons.

Rusty Shackles Shackles once used to hold prisoners and carcasses in the cannibal village cellar.
The trapped life essence within unlocks tremendous potential in The Hag's power.
  • Tripped Phantasm Traps do not spawn a Mud Phantasm.
  • Tripped Phantasm Traps do not give any indication of having been tripped to Survivors.
Grandma's Heart
Grandma's Heart The cold heart of the cannibal village elder.
The trapped life essence within unlocks tremendous potential in The Hag's power.

Triggering a Phantasm Trap causes the following effects for its tripped duration:

  • Suppresses the Terror Radius IconHelp terrorRadius.png of The Hag.
  • Increases the Fake Terror Radius of the Mud Phantasms to 16 metres.

"Bring me another slice of the girl." — Grandma

Disfigured Ear
Disfigured Ear The cannibal village deaf boy's ear.
Deformed due to several hits to the head.
The trapped life essence within unlocks tremendous potential in The Hag's power.
  • Triggering a Phantasm Trap causes the Survivor to be deafened for 6 seconds.
Waterlogged Shoe
Waterlogged Shoe A child's shoe, long lost in the bog's waters.
The trapped life essence within unlocks tremendous potential in The Hag's power.
  • Increases the Movement speed of The Hag by +4.5 % to 4.6 m/s.
  • Survivors suffer from a Hindered IconStatusEffects hindered.png Status Effect while inside a Phantasm Trap's Trigger range, reducing their Movement speed by -9 %.
  • Disables the ability of The Hag to teleport to triggered Phantasm Traps.

Waterlogged Shoe trumps all other Add-ons.

Mint Rag
Mint Rag A small piece of cotton torn from the dress worn by Lisa Sherwood on the day she disappeared.
The trapped life essence within unlocks tremendous potential in The Hag's power.
  • Grants The Hag the ability to teleport to any untripped Phantasm Trap at will.

Mint Rag applies a cool-down of 15 seconds to teleports between un-tripped Phantasm Traps.
This cool-down does not extend to regular teleports to tripped Phantasm Traps.

Blighted Corruption is The Blight's main Power: exploiting the strange powers induced by injecting himself with Putrid Serum, he is able to rush forward in a burst of speed and carom off obstacles to injure Survivors.

  • Automatically face the nearest Survivor within 16 metres after a Slam.
Chipped Monocle
Chipped Monocle A monocle Talbot rarely used despite his eyesight weakening in later years.
  • Displays the target location of a Slam.
Shredded Notes
Shredded Notes The remnants of Talbot's notes, they still contain some valuable information within.
  • Reduces Token Regeneration time by -0.33 seconds per Token.
  • Decreases available Rush Tokens by 1.
Pustula Dust

Any Survivor struck by the Shock Therapy or Static Blast Attack acquires a lingering Static Charge.

  • The Static Charge remains with the Survivor until it is discharged.
  • Any time a Survivor is within 4 metres of a Survivor carrying a Static Charge, both receive a shock identical to a Shock Therapy Attack and the Static Charge is discharged immediately.

The Wailing Bell is The Wraith's main Power: the Wailing Bell holds ancient powers, both with good and bad consequences. It allows its user to enter and walk the Spirit World when rung. When cloaked, The Wraith has no Terror Radius, meaning that Survivors do not hear a heartbeat, and The Wraith's Stain is also gone. The Wraith walks moderately faster when cloaked, making up for his inability to interact while in this state. The sound of the Bell is very loud, but can only be heard at a close distance to The Wraith.
