- Buff: increased the chance to find an Add-on to 100 %.
- Buff: set the maximum Rarity of the first Add-on to Very Rare across all Tiers.
- Buff: added a chance to find a second Add-on of Uncommon Rarity or lower of 10/25/50 %.

- Quality of Life: added the functionality to prevent Add-on loss upon escaping.
Effectiveness
The following table shows the approximate probability of obtaining each Rarity of add-on with Ace in the Hole III, based on a sample of 450 opened chests: [1]

Trivia
- At Tier III of Ace in the Hole, all Template:IconLink can be found attached to their respective Template:IconLink.
- The only exceptions to that are the Ultra Rare Template:IconLink, Template:IconLink, and Template:IconLink.
- As of Patch 2.1.0:
- Ace in the Hole applies to any Template:IconLink obtained by the effects of Template:IconLink.
- Ace in the Hole can allow Survivors to find two instances of the same Template:IconLink equipped on an Item (which is usually impossible).
