Overview[]
Kenny Ackermann is a minor antagonist in Attack on Titan.
For decades, Kenny was a serial killer in the capital of Paradis known as "Kenny the Ripper". At some point, he met with his grandfather who was on the edge of death, and asked him why their family, who was close to the crown at one point, was suddenly betrayed by them. After learning of the reason, Kenny sought vengeance, and tracked down the royal family, who were hidden in secret from the public. His attack does not go as planned and he is defeated by the king, Rod Reiss.
Instead of killing him, however, Kenny's life is spared by Rod, who apologizes to him for his bloodline's persecution. Stunned by this act, the serial killer devotes his life to the royal family, joining the Military Police and becoming their closest enforcer. In secret, however, Kenny plotted to obtain their power in order to find out if a "piece of shit" like him could become as kind and compassionate as his new friend was.
