    • This effect lingers for 6 seconds after the Chase ends.
  • Madness III: In any situation, Survivors perceive an Illusionary Red Stain and Terror Radius, as if you were constantly right behind them.

You share into your patients' Madness and can see the Illusionary Red Stain.

  • Slightly increases (+15 %) Madness inflicted by Shock Therapy.

Survivors with Madness suffer from the following Afflictions:

  • Madness II: When a Chase begins, Survivors perceive the Red Stain and Terror Radius as though The Doctor were right behind them for a duration of 6 seconds.
  • Madness III: When a Chase begins, Survivors perceive the Red Stain and Terror Radius as though The Doctor were right behind them for a duration of 12 seconds.

The Doctor shares in his patients' Madness in order to see the Illusionary Red Stain.

Afflictions of the same type do not stack.

  • Rework: replaced the Madness bonus applied to Shock Therapy with a decreased delay to shock detonation.
  • Buff: the Illusionary Red Stain and Terror Radius now apply constantly in a Chase while in Madness II, and for 6 seconds after the Chase ends.
  • Buff: the Illusionary Red Stain and Terror Radius are always active while in Madness III.


Trivia[]

  • The so-called Detonation Delay refers to the time it takes for an initiated Shock Therapy Attack to take effect (detonate) and shock the Survivor.
    • The default delay is 1 second and "Discipline" - Class II will reduce this to 0.9 seconds.
