Change Log

Patch 2.6.3

  • Buff: changed the difficulty modifier to tremendously across all Tiers.

Patch 6.1.0

  • Buff: added the effect of greatly increasing the Regression speed of the damaged Generator over a given period.

Patch 6.7.0

  • Buff: reduced the inital Regression speed penalty to 85%.
  • Nerf: reduced the maximum Regression speed bonus to 130%.
  • Nerf: reduced the penalty for missing the difficult Skill Check to 2/3/4 %.

Patch 7.5.0

  • Change: only the initiating kick counts as a Regression event, the potentially failed Skill Check will not.
    • This change is due to the addition of a limit to how often individual Generators can experience a Regression event.

Trivia

  • This Perk was originally going to be named "Generator Overcharge".
  • The Overcharge Skill CheckIconHelp skillChecks will trigger for any Survivor attempting to repair the damaged Generator before the initial Overcharge Skill Check has been dealt with.
As a result, if multiple Survivors interact in quick succession with the damaged Generator, multiple Skill Checks will appear (one for each Survivor).
  • The Overcharge Skill Check will also "follow" a Survivor who interrupted the Generator repair before its appearance.
That is, once the Skill Check is initiated, it will appear for the Survivor no matter what they do; failing the Skill Check will still cause progress regression, thus making it impossible to try and avoid the Overcharge Skill Check.
  • Overcharge ignores the effect of the InstructionsIconAddon instructions Add-on, which usually eliminates Skill Checks while repairing with a Toolbox.
